Join with the Skagit County Republican Party to demand that Speaker of the House John Boehner convene a select committee to investigate Benghazi cover up
In light of the revelations made during the May 8, 2013 House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearings, the Skagit County Republican Party strongly condemns the cynical and deliberately deceitful behavior of high level members of the Obama administration, especially former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, in their attempt to cover up the details of the terrorist attack that resulted in the deaths of Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Sean Smith, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty on September 11 and 12, 2012 in Benghazi, Libya. Rather than take responsibility for their missteps, malfeasance and dereliction of duty, they chose to concoct a totally false narrative about the events leading up to, during and after the attack. We demand that Speaker of the House of Representatives John Boehner immediately convene a select committee in order to conduct a full investigation of the matter to include reasons why frequent appeals for increased security at the compound were ignored, why rescue attempts were blocked and who made the decision to lie to the American people in the wake of this debacle.
The American people deserve the truth about what happened that terrible night. Regardless of party affiliation, we invite all concerned citizens to join us.
