April 14, 2021 Washington State Republican Party Update
On Monday, Jay Inslee forced Cowlitz, Pierce, and Whitman counties back to Phase Two under his totalitarian reopening plan. Inslee is hiding behind metrics and criteria, saying his hands are tied, this is a lie. He has personally selected the metrics and he is constantly changing the criteria counties must meet to stay in Phase 3. Just last week, he changed the criteria twice!
This is unacceptable, no one person should wield this much power over citizens and small business owners, who just want to go about their daily lives without the government dictating their every move. Watch our most recent video calling for the State Legislature to reform the Emergency Powers Act, so we can stop Inslee from having unlimited, unchecked power
