As someone who has studied elections in Washington State for many years it is becoming painfully obvious that the years of catastrophically terrible Democrat policies are taking their toll.
In finishing up my 8th year as Chairman of the Skagit County Republican Party, running for state office, managing campaigns, and Chairing the WAGOP Election Integrity Committee for nearly 4 years, I have been forced to watch the Democrat carnage every day and figure out ways to mitigate the damage with an attempt to improve the systems overall direction of our county and state. This has been a massive challenge.
There have been some improvements, but the reality is that because of Democrat tyrannical control, hundreds of thousands of Republicans have moved out our state in recent years, simply because the cost of living has become way too expensive, and the woke indoctrination of our youth has literally become so dangerous it is not worth it for many parents to keep their kids in the public school system. Add steady increases in rampant crime, homelessness and drug addiction and you have a recipe for disaster!
Statewide results are still being tabulated but we now know Democrats will keep all their Congressional Reps and most likely pick up a State House (LD 26) and a State Senate Seat (LD 18). The results are disappointing but not at all surprising.
