CALL TO ACTION!
Please take a few minutes to provide written SUPPORT FOR BILL SB 5769 Reforming the state tax system by providing tax relief to residents, employees and employers.
This bill went unnoticed. The committee hearing was held this morning, and only two testified in favor of the bill, 17 testified against it. All who testified against it were being paid by some kind of organization that benefits from higher tax revenues.
The only testimony we can still give is written testimony.

Statement:
I am in favor of SB. 5769. It benefits us all. It benefits businesses by eliminating the the B & O tax on manufacturing. It helps us all by lowering property taxes, repealing the new state income tax and the long term payroll tax. At a time when the state has a $10 billion surplus in revenue, this will be welcome relief from the record inflation and high tax burden we are all facing. This bill will boost the economy, jobs, businesses and revenue for the state. Please vote YES ON SB 5769.

ALSO: Please take a few minutes to email members of the Senate Ways and Means Committee members about SB 5563: "Enrollment stabilization funding to address enrollment declines due to Covid-19." This bill passed the Early Learning and K-12 Education committee on January 21 without opposition. If passed, this bill will give extra money to school districts that have lost students due to lower academic achievement, cuts in services, remote learning, mandates and divisive curriculum. WE CANNOT REWARD SCHOOL DISTRICTS FOR FAILING OUR STUDENTS!
