HAPPY 4th of JULY Independence Day from the SCRP!

Happy 4th of July Independence Day from the SCRP! In honor of the Holiday the SCRP Office will be closed Tuesday, July 4th. There will be parades held in Anacortes and Sedro-Woolley. This is a great opportunity to support good 2023 local candidates. Bring the whole family.

Independence Day, also called Fourth of July or July 4th, in the United States, is the annual celebration of nationhood. It commemorates the passage of the Declaration of Independence by the Continental Congress on July 4, 1776.

The Congress had voted in favor of an official Independence from Great Britain on July 2, but did not actually complete the process of revising the Declaration of Independence, originally drafted by Thomas Jefferson in consultation with fellow committee members John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, Roger Sherman, and William Livingston, until two days later.

This Fourth of July Should Be About Fireworks, The Constitution, And The SCOTUS 303 Creative Decision

As we celebrate our national independence and gather with family and friends, let’s practice what the framers of the Constitution risked and gave their lives for — some thoughtful, convivial, playful, discourse about the Constitution, the 303 Creative decision, a little politics and some religion. Everything the left doesn’t want you to think or say. Article
