rally in Olympia to demand Democrat legislators uphold their Constitutional obligation on voter initiatives

Today there was a huge rally in Olympia to demand Democrat legislators uphold their Constitutional obligation on voter initiatives!  Among many speakers, WAGOP Chairman Jim Walsh highlighted the significance of the initiative process, while urging voters to “never give up" saying, “the WA State Constitution in Article 2, Section 1, talks about the tools that the people of the state of Washington have for fixing what’s broken. The founders of this state anticipated times like these. They knew there would be times when the legislature went too far; when our executive overreached, when the courts failed to interpret the law. And they gave you the tools for fixing what’s broken. That’s what the initiatives are.”
