Moses Lake, WA -- January 20th, 2018

Today the Washington State Republican Party Central Committee voted to have Caleb Heimlich be the new state GOP Chairman.  Caleb has been the WSRP Executive Director the past 7 years and was a first ballot choice among the 107 attending state committee voting members.

Caleb Heimlich will be replacing the resigning Susan Hutchinson, who had been the WSRP Chairman the past 5 years.  Mr. Heimlich will be fulfilling the second year of Susan's 3rd term so in 12 months there will be another vote for the state party Chairman (terms are for two years).

Caleb graduated from Hillsdale College, Magna Cum Laude and among his impressive list of endorsements (that included many state elected officials) was the President of Hillsdale College, Dr. Arnn.

There were a total of four candidates competing for the position and out of a possible 107 votes, Caleb Heimlich received 75 votes, Monique Valenzuela (Chairman of the Tacoma Public Utility Board) received 15 votes, Marty Mcclendon (state lieutenant governor candidate) received 13 votes and Lance Henderson (former WSRP Executive director) received 4 votes.
