2024 Elections Calendar
Candidate Filing period begins Monday, May 6 and ends Friday, May 10.
Online filing begins at 8:00 a.m. on the first Monday in May and continues until 5:00 p.m. the following Friday.
The deadline to withdraw is 5:00 p.m. on the Monday following the final day of the filing period. Voters' Pamphlet profile deadline is Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

2024 | Key Dates for Candidate Filing
April 22 - First day filing officer may receive candidate declarations by mail.
May 6 - Official Candidate Filing Week opens.
May 10 - Final day for all candidates to file for office, and Lot Draw for ballot order.
May 13 - Candidate withdrawal deadline.
May 14 - Last day for Secretary of State to certify candidates to County Auditors.
May 21 - Final day to submit candidate statements & photographs for state Voters' Pamphlet. Start yours early!
July 18 - Deadline to file a Write-in Declaration of Candidacy form without paying a filing fee for the August Primary.
Oct 17 - Deadline to file a Write-in Declaration of Candidacy form without paying a filing fee for the November General.
