February 2022 Chairman's Corner Newsletter

Despite most of the U.S. moving on, the WA State Democrat / Socialist led legislature is insisting on keeping their Covid narratives going to justify the mostly virtual 2022 legislative session. Reps participating on the floor are required to show vaccination papers and have a booster shot at least two weeks prior to being allowed on the floor. Only security, rostrum and IT staff who have shown vaccination papers are permitted on the House floor. All members and staff who work on the Capitol campus are required to undergo testing for Covid on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Press have limited access to cover proceedings from the House gallery only after they have provided vaccination papers. Meanwhile the Constitution and Rule-of-Law continue to be obliterated, all for a political narrative to remain in control and power.

BUT IT GETS WORSE: These Authoritarian Dems have decided the public will still NOT be allowed inside legislative chambers, nor in any of the offices during the 2022 session. Once again shutting out the public via remote operations so they can have a easier path toward adopting their far-left, authoritarian, Seattle-based progressive agenda.

We all need to continue to fight against this ridiculous nonsense and to insist on open, transparent and accountable government. There should be no vaccine-related mandates! Constitutional rights are non-negotiable!! No elected official and no agency bureaucrats have any business forcing you to inject a vaccination (experimental drug) into your body against your wishes. We will not stop until all those pushing unconstitutional mandates are removed from office!

SOME GOOD NEWS:  After much Republican and public pressure and fear of un-election, the D's decided to delay their HB 1732 Draconian Long term Health Care Payroll tax for another 18 months.

BAD NEWS: Not surprisingly these Dem legislators are wreaking havoc introducing and passing many more horrible, unconstitutional bills. Examples include:

HB 1727 is a new law that was rammed through despite much public opposition. It will ban citizen ballot measures in odd years, but allows local governments to call special elections to increase taxes. Hard to understand why D's allow local tax increases to appear on the ballot in odd years while denying our constitutional right of initiative and referendum in those same years.

SB 5727 and HB 1838 are blatant “land grabs” under the guise of restoring fish habitat. The law would carve up to 230-foot setbacks along streams and rivers in perpetuity and empower the state to impose fines of $10,000 per day/per occurrence for any failure to comply to Dept. of Ecology standards, trampling property rights and tens of thousands of acres of productive farmland without compensation. "Protecting, restoring, and maintaining habitat for salmon recovery."  The Washington Farm Bureau says "this is one of the worst bills, ever, and attacks a farmer's right to use their own land," and says this bill is the most unscientific, damaging piece of legislation ever to be imposed on Skagit County's and Washington State's farmland and agriculture industry." One of the sponsors is LD 40 Rep. Lekanoff (D).

HB 2026 would charge drivers a "Road Usage Charge" (TAX) of 2.5 cents a mile, beginning with mandatory participation from those who own electric vehicles, and then expanding to those who own hybrids and all other vehicles.

HB 1099 will give the Growth Management Act the power to take more from the people.

SB 5540 will hurt confidence in our elections, adversely affect PCO involvement and limit the public's ability to witness signature verification on ballots. It gives CO. auditors the ability to increase the size of voting precincts (more than 1,500) so it will make cheating easier.

HB 1659 expands the Washington College Grant (WCG) program. Expands taxpayer funded entitlement program.

HB 1736 Establishing a state student loan program.

SB 5848 Concerning licensure for music therapists. Another way for the state to raise money, and control the activities of small business owners, via a board of licensure; increases costs to the consumer.

SB 5886 creates an advisory council on "rare diseases." Gives the Board of Health more power, money, and authority. Just say no!

SB 5751 Kill Rural Health Care Bill. Gives L&I even more power over health care staffing.

HB 1952 Expands the Growth Management Act.

SB 5426 Creates a new "Wealth Tax."

HB 1076 would allow third parties, or “relators,” to bring a lawsuit or so-called “qui-tam action” against an employer on behalf on a government agency for a perceived violation of statutes that govern the employee workplace and employer and employee relationship.

HB 5843 False election statements. Gov. Inslee's Unconstitutional proposal to restrict free speech about elections.

SB 6783 reestablishing the kill affordable housing task force. Establishes yet another unelected "task force" to crack down on the home building industry.

HB 2009 Creating the evergreen basic income trust (another entitlement program).

HB 1280 Concerning greenhouse gas emissions reductions in the design of public facilities. Will increase the cost of pubic buildings for no real gain.

SB 5563 funds schools at their pre-covid enrollment levels. There is absolutely no reason why we should pay schools that failed to provide in person education.

HB 1953 very dangerous Election Integrity legislation cleverly written will take away more government accountability and transparency.

HB 1664 Requires each public school to have at least one school nurse and one ESL counselor on site.

HJR 4209 (Constitutional amendment) Conserving and protecting the state's natural resources. The state wants to own and control everything in life: water, air, flora, fauna, soils and climate. It's not within the state's power to serve as trustee and protector of all the natural resources or the climate of the state. This power rightly belongs to the people and should stay that way. This is not an adequate basis for a Constitutional amendment.

OF NOTE: Your 2nd Amendment rights are under vicious attack, here are some examples:

SB 5217 arbitrarily classifies many popularly-owned semi-automatic firearms as so-called “assault weapons” and bans their possession, manufacture, transfer, etc. These firearms are widely used for self-defense, recreational shooting, and hunting, and have now been vilified due to cosmetic features. It is extremely important that NRA Members and Second Amendment supporters contact their lawmakers in opposition to SB 5217.

SB 5078 bans the manufacture, possession, sale, transfer, etc., of magazines that “are capable of holding,” or hold more than, 17 rounds of ammunition. Amendments to the bill are expected to lower this to 12 or even 10 rounds. This includes conversion kits or parts from which any such magazine may be assembled.  These so-called “high capacity” magazines are, in fact, standard equipment for commonly-owned firearms that many Americans legally and effectively use for an entire range of legitimate purposes, such as self-defense or competition.

SB 5568 guts the state’s preemption laws and will expand gun free zones and permit municipalities to ban the open carry of firearms. These types of measures result in a complex patchwork of gun laws across the state that ensnare otherwise law-abiding gun owners, turning them into criminals.

HB 1705 further restricts the centuries-old practice of manufacturing firearms for personal use and self-defense by imposing requirements that far exceed those in federal law. It seeks to prohibit private individuals from possessing certain unregulated components commonly-used by hobbyists to make their own firearms, as well as possessing currently legal firearms that don’t have serial numbers.

HB 1618 prohibits the carrying of any firearm, whether open or concealed, into an “election related office or facility” including polling places, voter registration centers, and more. Violation would be a gross misdemeanor and revocation of a concealed pistol license for at least three years.

HB 1630 prohibits the carrying of firearms at school board or local municipality meetings. Violation may also result in revocation of a concealed pistol license for at least three years.

HB 1901 would allow petitioners for civil protection orders to assert that another has “coercive control” over them, leading to an unconstitutional revocation of firearm rights. Examples of coercive control listed in the bill include “cleaning, accessing, displaying, using, or wearing a firearm in an intimidating or threatening manner” – even within one’s own home. This is ripe for abuse.

How about some Good Republican Bills:

SB 5679 sponsor is Skagit PCO, WA State Senator and WA State SOS Candidate Keith Wagoner. His new bill that was written up in the Seattle Times over the weekend. Keith was quoted as saying: “I do specifically take issue with the governor’s approach that the best way to combat disinformation — which he seems very concerned about — is to try and force people to agree. A better approach is to build confidence in the system and bring them around that way.”

His Senate Bill 5679 would, among other things, give the Washington State Patrol the ability to spot-check some voter signatures on 2022 ballots and compare them to signatures on file. It would waive the cost of an enhanced driver’s license or government-issued identification card for individuals earning less than 200% of the federal poverty level.

The bill — which Wagoner drafted last year — seeks to compile a report “of all prosecuted election law violations and outcomes of the cases,” according to a legislative analysis. In the hearing, Wagoner said he wanted “the people to have the same degree of confidence in our elections that I have. “But you can’t force confidence,” he added. “It has to be earned.”

SB 5434 Concerning elections and voter confidence. Good common sense EI legislation: Sponsors: Wagoner, Braun, Fortunato, Padden, Rivers, Schoesler, Short, Warnick, Wilson.

HB 1772 Increasing legislative involvement in gubernatorial proclamations relating to a state of emergency, provide meaningful legislative oversight for restrictive emergency orders.

HB-2030 seeks to prohibit the use of involuntary quarantine and isolation. This bill partially came as a result of the WA State Board of Health meeting several weeks ago when people became aware of the Washington Administrative Codes for quarantine now that we’ve been under King Inslee’s unending emergency powers for nearly 2 years.

HB 2037 will give our police officers the power to use deadly force against another person when the officer or another person is in immediate and severe danger. It also allows the officer to take a suspect into custody and to engage in pursuit.

HB-2041 which would raise the age all “mature minor consent” on healthcare matters from age 14 to age 16. This bill seeks to begin to remedy the new Dem bills that allow children to make their own medical and mental health care decisions. The current law allows children 13 and over complete privacy in their medical records from parents. As we see the greater push for gender re-assignment and birth control and abortions available to children without parental consent or knowledge.

HB 1305 – Right to refuse vaccines: No one should be required to be vaccinated, and no one should be denied services, employment, or access to public places if they choose not to be vaccinated. This measure would allow individuals the right to refuse any vaccination or related health measure, so they maintain control of what goes into their own bodies.

HB 1381 – Emergency powers: Would limit the governor's emergency powers to 14 days after a state of emergency proclamation, unless extended by the Legislature from a 2/3 vote in both the House and Senate. If the Legislature is not in session, a special session could be called to extend the state of emergency proclamation. This would address the imbalance that has occurred for nearly two years between the executive and legislative branches as Gov. Inslee has ruled the state through emergency proclamations.

OF NOTE: Over 5,000 people signed in to support Rep. Corry's Emergency Powers reform bill (HB 1772). Watch his testimony HERE:

MORE BAD: Involuntary detainment of residents as young as 5 years old in Covid-19 “internment camps” for failing to comply with the state’s experimental vaccine mandate. WAC 246-100-040, a proposed Democrat law / rule revision to include Covid protocol under the state’s Communicable and Certain Other Diseases act, outlines “Procedures for isolation or quarantine.” The measure would allow local health officers at “his other sole discretion” to “issue an emergency detention order causing a person or group of persons to be immediately detained for purposes of isolation or quarantine.”

The amended law would also allow health officers to deploy law enforcement officials to assist with the arrest of incompliant Washington residents. ARTICLE

Why Democrats’ police reform bills have made communities less safe. In the 2021 legislative session, majority party Democrats passed several police-reform bills. Some of these measures disarmed the police and took away important tools used by law enforcement to de-escalate situations. There are dangerous consequences for these changes and, as a result, communities are now less safe.

House Republicans believe police officers were already held to a very high standard, but they should not be held to an impossible one. A vast majority of police officers are hard-working, dedicated, and honorable public servants. And they put their lives on the line every day to keep our communities safe. If a police officer does not act in way consistent with law enforcement expectations, he or she should be held accountable. Article

Gun violence in King County in 2021 surpassed 2020’s record numbers. 88 people were fatally shot and 372 were wounded by gunfire in King County last year, surpassing 2020’s previous record high of 69 firearm-related homicides and 268 shooting injuries. Article

Election Integrity Updates: During November / Dec 2021 canvassing SVIP volunteers found another 94 anomalies (registered voters who did not live at the address of record). This increased the total number of Skagit anomalies to 1,632 and the number of affidavits to 1,937 in the year 2021.

Good News: According to January 2022 voter registration data The Skagit County Auditor has now removed about 1/3 of these anomalies off the voter rolls. However, it still does not explain as to why there was a vote cast and counted by someone in the Nov 2020 election who did not live at their voter registration address of record (potential phantom voters).

Of Note: During our 2021 Skagit County canvassing efforts it was discovered that at least 5 people were registered to vote at 614 residences.

6 people were registered to vote at 194 residences

7 people were registered to vote at 52 addresses

8 people were registered to vote at 20 residences

9 people were registered to vote at 5 residences

10 people were registered to vote at 8 residences

11 people were registered to vote at 4 residences

12 people were registered to vote at 1 residence

14 people were registered to vote at 1 residence

15 people were registered to vote at 1 residence

16 people were registered to vote at 2 residences

17 people were registered to vote at 1 residence

18 people were registered to vote at 2 residences

20 people were registered to vote at 1 residence and

32 people were registered to vote at 1 residence

Also, we recently discovered that in 2020 and 2021 there were 3 active Skagit County voters who were registered to vote before they were born!

In 2022 the Skagit Voter Integrity Project canvassing volunteers will continue non-partisan work in helping to clean up the voter rolls and will be now working under the banner of the Washington Voter Research Project (WVRP). Glen Morgan and several volunteers, who share a common interest in election integrity and ensuring that our votes count, formed WVRP in 2021 in WA State. The goal is to ensure that all legal votes are not just “counted,” but also to ensure that they are not “canceled” by fraud, incompetence, or other problems which can often occur in any complex, government run, bureaucratic system. Voting integrity is a worthy goal for all people who care about our fundamental right to vote!

Statewide the Thurston County Election Integrity Canvassers came out with an amazing report Jan 10. The report was written by a Private Investigator and former WA State Fraud Investigator. Findings included: 2,164 voters (57.77%) had moved but were still registered at their previous address.

2,164 registered voters who had changed address but were still registered at their previous address. This is 57.77% of the 3,746 voters that they obtained information about. Of the 2,164 voters that had moved, 367 had moved in the past 90 days. 932 of them had moved one year ago or more, and 358 had moved two or more years ago, but were still registered to that address. 75 voters had moved more than five years ago. You can find the entire report at WAElectionIntegrity.com. Expect several other counties to publish EI canvassing reports in the next few months. "True the Vote" may have finally cracked the code behind the undercover massive voter fraud in the 2020 presidential election. It's apparently through the use of "mules" – or delivery people – who dropped off harvested ballots into absentee-ballot boxes like one in Georgia. True the Vote, a non-partisan effort, says they have similar cases from five other contested states. Video

President Trump thanked Catherine Englebrecht, founder of True the Vote, who was sitting in the crowd at his rally in Conroe, Texas. Trump explained Englebrecht and her team uncovered "massive illegal ballot harvesting and other forms of ballot fraud, the scheme with 2,000, they call them ballot 'mules,' these are paid Democrat Operatives and they walk in early in the morning with thousands and thousands of ballots, and they stuff the ballot boxes in Georgia and the other battleground states, and they [True the Vote] have it on tape." LD 17 State House Rep. Vicki Kraft eloquently wrote “In the governor's State of the State Address, he chose to attack legislators like me who are standing up and working to bring integrity to our election process in Washington state. Governor Inslee actually said, 'The right to representative government today is under attack in our country. And unfortunately, I must say, in our own state.' I couldn't agree more. Governor Inslee effectively attacked us as state legislators who represent the people. He's also ruled as a one-man dictator for the past two years through emergency powers in our state. That is completely opposite to a representative form of government and it's completely un-American.

“It is my sworn constitutional duty to ensure that every vote cast in our state is actually legal, legitimate and properly counted. What is not legitimate is to intimidate legislators of the opposition party into silence, and to threaten our constitutionally-protected right of free speech with criminal prosecution. I am introducing legislation in this 2022 session that seeks to ensure election integrity in Washington state. My sponsorship of this legislation on behalf of the people I represent will not be suppressed, nor will I be intimidated by the governor, nor silenced by his threats to make free speech and our First Amendment rights illegal.”

Jan 6 2022 Matt Gaetz and Marjorie Taylor Greene Press Conference VIDEO . Congressional Reps Gaetz and Greene asserted that the federal government has a history of infiltrating patriotic groups. Additionally, Greene took aim at the way mainstream media covered the events of January 6, including how it has portrayed the protestors.

“I’m not one that’s going to just sit there and take and duck and, you know, hide under cover when the mainstream media and the Democrat Party wants to label people and tell lies,’ she stated. “We’re here because we want to get out in front and say we think there’s real questions that do need to be asked.”

The congresswoman expressed her frustration by saying if Democrats really cared about riots and protests, they would have worked hard to put an end to the Antifa riots back in 2020, but instead contributed to the violence. She then indicated that not one Republican has helped incite violence like the Democrats have. Furthermore, the Republican lawmakers pointed out none of January 6 defendants have been charged with insurrection or terrorism. They also added, those detainees are subject to inhumane detention conditions in jail. ARTICLE / VIDEO

8 Times Left-Wing Protesters Broke Into Government Buildings and Assaulted Democracy

Donald Trump wasted no time crafting a scathing response to President Joe Biden after he made remarks on the one-year anniversary of the Jan. 6 attacks, blaming the former commander-in-chief for causing the events that unfolded that day.

Trump put out his response in a statement pushed out by his Save America PAC.

“Biden, who is destroying our Nation with insane policies of open Borders, corrupt Elections, disastrous energy policies, unconstitutional mandates, and devastating school closures, used my name today to try to further divide America,” the former president started off in his first response.

“This political theater is all just a distraction for the fact Biden has completely and totally failed. Our Country no longer has Borders, has totally and completely lost control of Covid (record numbers!), is no longer Energy Independent, Inflation is rampant, our Military is in chaos, and our exit, or surrender, from Afghanistan was perhaps the most embarrassing day in the long and distinguished history of the United States—and so much more. Why is it that the Unelected Committee of totally partisan political hacks, whose judgment has long ago been made, not discussing the rigged Presidential Election of 2020?” Trump continued. Article

“It’s because they don’t have the answers or justifications for what happened. They got away with something, and it is leading to our Country’s destruction. They want all conversation concerning the Election “Canceled.” Just look at the numbers, they speak for themselves. They are not justifiable, so the complicit media just calls it the Big Lie, when in actuality the Big Lie was the Election itself,” he added.

Trump vows a ‘comeback,’ trashes Biden at first 2022 rally. President Trump promised that he would be staging a “comeback,” his clearest indication yet that he plans to run for the White House in 2024. He said it would be a “comeback the likes of which nobody has ever seen.” He made the pledge at his first rally speech of the 2022 election season. He also blasted “tyrannical” Covid-19 vaccine mandates, runaway inflation and a national crime wave in a brick-by-brick takedown of President Biden’s first years in office. In the nearly two-hour speech in Florence, Arizona, he piled on top of the mounting defeats of Biden: the virus still raging, the Supreme Court blocking Biden’s vaccine mandate for private employers and Biden’s agenda in its death throes in Congress. “We’ve had more problems, we’ve had more destruction than five presidents put together in the last year,” he said at the “Save America” rally.

He also sounded off against the House select committee investigating the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, saying Democrats are using the riot to “justify an unprecedented assault on American civil rights and liberties.” Repeatedly circling back to the Covid-19 pandemic, he portrayed Biden’s failures as vindication of the Trump administration’s performance in combating the virus. “By now it should be clear to everyone that today’s radical Democrat Party is driven by a mean and vicious spirit of left-wing fascism,” Trump said. “Biden’s trying to bully and intimidate people with his ridiculous unscientific mandates because he and his entire administration have absolutely no idea what the hell is happening.” Over 25,000 people showed up in person to watch the rally and over 400,000 Americans tuned in to watch the event live on OAN, RSBN networks and Getter.

Texans Trumpet their Support for another Trump Presidential bid at Conroe Rally!

The Jan 29 rally in the Houston suburbs put on full display how much of a grip former President Donald Trump still has on Texas. Top Texas Republicans used a Houston-area rally with former President Donald Trump on Saturday to cheer on a potential comeback campaign by Trump, showing how much sway he still holds with the state Republicans over a year after leaving office.

Speaking before Trump at the rally in Conroe, two of the most pro-Trump state leaders, Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick and Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller, made clear they want the former president to run again. Miller touted himself as the first statewide official to endorse Trump for 2024 and said Republican candidates everywhere should be asked about it, suggesting it will reveal "who the real patriots are."

“I don’t know what’s happening in 2024, but I have a feeling if 45 wants to be 47, America will lift him up again," Patrick said, later introducing Trump as the "45th and soon-to-be 47th president of the United States." ARTICLE / VIDEO

According to new reports, Donald Trump’s approval rating right now has gone up dramatically since he left the Oval Office, as now nearly 9 out of 10 Republicans have a favorable view of him. In dual surveys that demonstrate the current rise of Trump and the fall of Joe Biden, 52 percent of voters told Rasmussen Reports that they have a favorable view of the former commander-in-chief, with 47 percent saying they don’t. Via Washington Examiner: Among Republicans, 85% have a favorable view, with 63% declaring a “very favorable” opinion. Even 23% of Democrats and 51% of independents agree. When he left office on Jan. 20, 2021, Trump’s Rasmussen approval rating was 51%. And his GOP approval was 84%, so he has actually increased support. Article

Rand Paul to Newsmax: Narrative of GOP Voter Suppression 'a Pack of Lies' Sen. Rand Paul stated that the narrative being pushed by mainstream media that the Republican Party is suppressing voters is a “pack of lies,” going on to cite data that demonstrates the Black population votes at roughly the same rate as folks in the white population.

But it’s not really about that,” Paul said during an interview on ”Spicer & Co.” ”They’re lying. They’re lying to the public and saying this is about racial disparity when in reality, it’s about trying to set the system up where they can game it through mail-in voting by embedding people into the electoral system that will basically try to get out certain people to vote and exclude other people from voting.”

”So really, this is about gamesmanship and has nothing to do with anything noble or lofty, like voting rights. But it’s amazing that they can try to play a game like this and expect people to buy into it,” the Kentucky Republican said.

Paul, who is a certified doctor in the area of ophthalmology, said, ”Even if you look back to … the very first Covid virus that we had … it turns out that it’s not very deadly for children. Sweden has kept their schools [sic] open the entire time. They don’t wear masks, and what they found is that no children died. Not one [child] in the whole country of Sweden — 1.8 million kids. Not one child died,” the senator said.

The Kentucky Republican then said that there’s “no science” to support forcing children to wear masks.

”Here’s the truth of the matter,” Paul remarked. ”When we’ve studied mask mandates, there’s no evidence that they lower the incidence. When we study having schools where some kids were masked, and some don’t, there’s no difference in the incidence. Liberals are just absolutely hilarious. So they want you to produce an identification card that proves your vaccination status before you do certain things, but get offended by the idea of a person having to provide proof of identity before they cast a vote. Does no one else catch the irony here?" Article / VIDEO

Dr. Mehmet Oz challenges Dr. Anthony Fauci to a debate, calls him 'a petty tyrant.' Dr. Mehmet Oz, who is seeking to represent the state of Pennsylvania in the U.S. Senate, is challenging Dr. Anthony Fauci to a debate and has called Fauci a "petty tyrant" and "the J. Edgar Hoover of public health." Oz released a campaign video in which he challenges Fauci to a debate.

"You got COVID wrong," Oz says in the video. "Let's have a debate, doctor to doctor, and give the American people the truth about Covid-19. I'm game, any time, anywhere. Dr. Fauci, are you in?"

"I think Dr. Fauci is basically the J. Edgar Hoover of public health. He's a petty tyrant. He got Covid wrong. He continues to get it wrong. I keep hearing from people inside the public health space, and outside, regular doctors like me, that he's not managing this correctly." Article

Judicial Watch Sues for Records of Garland Memo Targeting Parents. The Biden administration wants to target parents as “terrorists” by abusing the power of the FBI and DOJ to intimidate parents who oppose the racist and anti-American critical race theory agenda. Adding to the scandal is that we had to file a federal FOIA lawsuit because the agencies are in cover-up mode over this shocking abuse of power.

Did you ever imagine there would come a day when the U.S. AG would set the FBI against parents attending school board meetings – and does it with a leftist-controlled special interest group that brands parents “domestic terrorists?” Judicial Watch filed a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit for all FBI records related to the October 4, 2021, memorandum issued by Attorney General Garland targeting parents who object to critical race theory being taught in schools (Judicial Watch v. U.S. Department of Justice (No. 1:21-cv-03389).

Judicial Watch Statement on Supreme Court Vacancy. Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding the new Supreme Court vacancy resulting from Justice Stephen Breyer’s retirement:

"Justice Breyer’s surprise retirement seems to have been the result of an unprecedented leftist pressure campaign to force him from the Supreme Court before this year’s election. You can be sure these same radical leftists, who also want to pack the Supreme Court, will require Biden to pick a judicial extremist to replace Justice Breyer. Let me be clear: the Left will use this opportunity to further undermine the integrity of the Supreme Court and the rule of law.

Disturbingly, President Biden seems to have confirmed that he will refuse to consider potential nominees simply because of their race and sex. The Senate must not only reject Biden’s invidious discrimination but must also ensure no nominee moves forward who wants to further politicize the Supreme Court by legislating from the bench." Most Hospitalized COVID-19 Patients in New Jersey Admitted for Non-COVID Reasons: Officials. The majority of people hospitalized with Covid-19 in New Jersey were actually admitted for reasons other than Covid-19, officials said on Jan. 10. Of the 6,075 people with Covid-19 and hospitalized in the state, just 2,963 were admitted for Covid-19, New Jersey Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli said during a briefing. “We have a fair number of what I’ve started to call Covid incidental, or incidental Covid, meaning you went in because you broke your leg, but everyone’s getting tested and it turns out you’ve got Covid. You didn’t even know it,” Gov. Phil Murphy, a Democrat, said. Article

“In addition to serving as medical functions, isolation and quarantine also are “police power” functions, derived from the right of the state to take action affecting individuals for the benefit of society,” CDC stated on their website. Article

House retirements spell trouble for Democrats in 2022. So far 39 members of the House of Representatives have announced their retirement from the chamber in 2023. The departures set up a potential sea change on Capitol Hill. The partisan tilt of the retirements, with 26 Democrats leaving office versus 13 Republicans, has fueled debate among lawmakers and analysts over the governing party's prospects for holding onto power in the 2022 midterm elections. David Polyansky, a Republican strategist at Axiom Strategies argued "For some reason, they focused on the importance of massive federal spending but never told people what they were buying. That's bad at ordinary moments. It's unthinkable in the middle of an economic crisis. First they want no initiatives in odd years and then based on our new initiative to cut taxes , they want to warn you of the devastating effects of tax reduction. Standard progressive behavior. If you are challenged and might lose, change the rules. The legislators supporting this are among the most despicable elected officials on the planet. They will lie, cheat, and steal to move an agenda that frankly more and more people are finding repulsive and destructive. They have no business serving the people. They are only there to serve themselves and their overlords." Article

Rasmussen polled 2,500 likely American voters and found, with what it says was only a 2% margin of error, that the GOP is up a massive nine points on a generic congressional ballot. Republicans maintain a strong lead in their bid to recapture control of Congress. If the elections for Congress were held today, 48% of Likely U.S. Voters would vote for the Republican candidate, while 39% would vote for the Democrat. Just four percent (4%) would vote for some other candidate, but another nine percent (9%) are not sure. Article

Further, it reports that energy is both higher among Republicans than Democrats and that Independents are flocking toward the GOP in massive numbers, saying “While 87% of Republican voters say they would vote for their own party’s congressional candidate, only 77% of D's  would vote for the Dem candidate. Among voters not affiliated with either major party, 43% would vote Republican and 28% would vote Democrat, while 9% would vote for some other candidate and 20% are undecided.” Still better for the GOP is that it appears that some of the usually heavily-Democratic voting blocks, minorities and women, are moving toward the GOP:

Most Americans want Biden to consider 'all' nominees. More than 76% of Americans want Joe Biden to consider all potential nominees to replace outgoing Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer, according to a recent ABC News-Ipsos poll. The poll comes after Biden said Thursday that he will announce his nominee before the end of February, and that the candidate will be a Black woman. Among Democrats, 54% supported considering all nominees regardless of race and gender. Just 23% of those polled wanted Biden to restrict his list of nominees to Black women.

BE PREPARED! Supply Chain Problem About to Get Much WORSE!

Rantz: Concern as 20 % of fully vaccinated Seattle police hit with Covid last month. The fully vaccinated Seattle Police Department (SPD) suffered nearly 20% of its staff contracting Covid in just the first 21 days of January.

The vaccine mandate, which sidelined nearly 100 officers for termination, was supposed to stop the spread of Covid. But the omicron variant evades the vaccine, and the mandate was a permanent “solution” to an evolving problem.

Now, panic is setting in. The SPD is already experiencing a record low number of deployable staff. Interim Chief Adrian Diaz warns the department “can’t afford to have any more people get sick.”

In just 10 days, from Jan. 11 through Jan. 21, the SPD saw 114 vaccinated officers out with Covid, according to an internal memo obtained by the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH. The memo goes out to staff daily, offering updates on testing and the number of positive cases.

According to a separate memo, dated Jan. 21, Diaz confirmed that “nearly 20-percent of the department tested positive for Covid during the month of January alone, and dozens of officers are unavailable to work.”

The department lost an astonishing 170 officers in 2021 and 180 in 2020. It left a depleted staff of just 880 deployable sworn Seattle Police Officers Guild (SPOG) members as of Jan. 11. With only 36 officers not-yet-sworn, and 25 students participating in field training, the department is far short of its goal of 1,400-1,600 officers.

“The current state of Seattle police staffing is off the charts dangerous for our community,” SPOG President Mike Solan previously warned while the Jason Rantz Show on KTTH. Article

No one appears to have been in charge at Black Lives Matter for months. The address it lists on tax forms is wrong, and the charity's two board members won't say who controls its $60 million bankroll, a Washington Examiner investigation has found. BLM's shocking lack of transparency surrounding its finances and operations raises major legal and ethical red flags, multiple charity experts told the Washington Examiner. "Like a giant ghost ship full of treasure drifting in the night with no captain, no discernible crew, and no clear direction," CharityWatch Executive Director Laurie Styron said of BLM. BLM co-founder Patrisse Cullors appointed two activists to serve as the group's senior directors following her resignation in May amid scrutiny over her personal finances. But both quietly announced in September that they never took the jobs due to disagreements with BLM. They told the Washington Examiner they don't know who now leads the nation's most influential social justice organization. Paul Kamenar, counsel for conservative watchdog group the National Legal and Policy Center, said a full audit and investigation into Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation, the legal entity that represents the national BLM movement, is warranted. BLM continues fundraising in Washington despite order to 'immediately cease.' The state of Washington told Black Lives Matter in early January that it must “immediately cease” fundraising in the state because of the charity's lack of financial transparency, but it has ignored the order, according to records obtained by the Washington Examiner.

The WA SOS Corporations and Charities Division notified BLM in a Jan. 5 letter that it could face fines up to $2,000 for each donation it solicits and receives from Washington residents until it submits records detailing its financial activities. Despite the notice, BLM has continued to accept contributions from the state's residents as recently as Monday evening. Article
