It truly amazes me that many voters say they reason they do not vote is because “it won’t matter.” That is a crazy defeatist attitude. EVERY VOTE IS IMPORTANT AND EVERY VOTE MATTERS! In fact, especially in “off-year” local elections, with only a 36.41% statewide voter turnout in 2023, percentage wise, each vote is actually much more valuable.
There is no better example of this than in the recently concluded WA State 2023 elections. Did you know that there were many races decided by only 9 or fewer votes? Here is a summary:

2023 was the lowest turnout general election in our state's recorded history, and as expected Democrats taking away tax-advisory votes from the people really hurt voter turnout.
With 5082 Dems Abolished Advisory Votes! In WA State, before 5082 was law, voters got an opportunity to weigh in on taxes that were passed by the Legislature without their direct approval. "Advisory Votes" were often the only time voters heard of a new tax. Since 2012, advisory votes on 38 tax increases appeared on the ballot.
Why would Democrats make a law to abolish advisory votes? Perhaps it is because most every time voters got an opportunity to go on record, they overwhelmingly VOTED AGAINST RAISING TAXES BY HUGE MARGINS.
In truth Dems just don't like what voters have to say about taxes. To increase voter turnout, the answer is to listen to the voters instead of stealing their voice...What a Concept!

THE INITIATIVES: Good Government Policy and Simple Solutions
I-2113: REASONABLE POLICE PURSUIT
This measure would remove certain restrictions on when peace officers may engage in vehicular pursuits. Such pursuits would be allowed when the officer has a "reasonable suspicion" a person has violated the law, pursuit is necessary to identify or apprehend the person, the person poses a threat to the safety of others, and those safety risks are greater than those of the pursuit.
I-2111: NO STATE INCOME TAX
This measure would prohibit the state, counties, cities, and other local jurisdictions from imposing or collecting income taxes, defined as having the same meaning as “gross income” in the Internal Revenue Code.
I-2109: REPEAL THE CAPITAL GAINS TAX
This measure would repeal an excise tax imposed on the sale or exchange of certain long-term capital assets by individuals who have annual capital gains of over $250,000.
I-2081: PARENTAL NOTIFICATION
This measure would allow parents and guardians of public-school children to review instructional materials and inspect student records, including health and disciplinary records, upon request.
It would require public schools to provide parents and guardians with certain notifications, including medical services given and when students are taken off campus; access to calendars and certain policies; written notice and opportunities to opt students out of comprehensive sexual-health education; answering certain surveys or assignments.
I-2117: STOP THE HIDDEN GAS TAX
This measure would prohibit state agencies from imposing any type of Carbon Tax / Credit Trading and repeal Cap & Invest program to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. It also REPEALS the wretched cap-and-trade tax scheme which doesn't do anything to stop pollution or greenhouse gasses and has driven gasoline and diesel prices up $1/gallon. It is a regressive tax that hurts working families harder than rich people.
I-2124: OPT OUT OF STATE-RUN LONG-TERM CARE COVERAGE
People can't afford another payroll tax! Allow working Washingtonians to opt out of the state government's insolvent "long-term care" tax scheme. It's an unpopular and expensive deduction out of working people's paychecks. Benefit is minimal. Taxpayers lose benefit if they move out of state.
These initiatives are not a Republican or Democrat thing. These are people signing of all demographics. The people of Washington, by and large, believe they are taxed too much, and the state is spending out of control. We need to prioritize things.
That’s backed up by tracking the party affiliation of those who signed all six measures, according to Walsh. On average with all the issues, 54% of people who have signed either identify as independent or Democrat, and it’s all races of people. Article

Amid WA Democrats' organized and illegal efforts to disrupt signature gathering across the state, Republican State Sen. Jeff Wilson, filed a bill that strengthens protections for gatherers who circulate petitions to qualify initiatives and referendums for the Washington ballot. 5820 is a priority for Senate Republicans, following a “decline to sign” campaign they say has gone too far, reads a press release from WA Senate Republicans. WSRP STATE CHAIR LETTER OF HOPE FOR 2024!
WSRP Chairman Jim Walsh shared a few reflections on 2023 while looking forward to what lies ahead in 2024 for the WAGOP:
At our State Committee meeting in August, WAGOP moved in a new direction—more outwardly focused, more active in taking control of media narratives and more determined to reach Washington voters fed up with crime and chaos and rising prices.
Very quickly, we launched a project to test our best ideas about winning campaign strategies and tactics. WAGOP worked with 36 conservative school board candidates, from around the state, to help support their campaigns. 32 of those 36 candidates were elected in November!
While we were helping those conservative school board candidates win, we worked with several partner organizations to develop a coordinated ballot-collection program—yes, “ballot harvesting”—to make sure that Republican voters vote. We used this program in targeted locations last November. And it worked.
We drew public attention to shady, non-compliant practices by King County Elections and the WA Secretary of State in a way that legitimized our questions about election integrity in this state. Even The Seattle Times editorial board grudgingly admitted that our questions are legit.
We’ve started a monthly series of “deep dive” policy discussion that explain in plain English but technical detail what WAGOP stands FOR. Restoring excellence in our K-12 public schools. Taking practical action to fight crime and rebuild safe neighborhoods. Get homeless people off the streets, instead of just talking about “homelessness” and wasting taxpayers’ money.
We’ve secured and increased our fundraising efforts at all levels—grassroots, membership and major donors. This was most evident at our very successful Fall Fundraising Dinner, which saw a record crowd come out and contribute.
We’ve developed in-house resources to build and expand boots-on-the-ground campaign infrastructure—and people—at the county and legislative-district committee levels. This includes a new Director of Development and Support, dedicated to helping county parties and legislative districts.
WAGOP continues to receive recognition and support from the Republican National Committee. This is proven by WAGOP’s success in the RNC’s GROW Program and by strong relationships with the U.S. Senate and Congress campaign committees in D.C.
WAGOP’s media presence has grown dramatically, both in traditional media and on social media. We’ve taken the space in MSM to re-define narratives on election integrity, repealing Inslee’s disastrous cap-and-trade tax scheme, tell the truth about crime rates in Washington, pushed back against lies about K-12 school performance and failed “Housing First” policies when it comes to homelessness.
We’ve stepped into a leadership position among our partners in the legislature, business community and religious communities—building data resources and organizing the first polling efforts, looking forward to the next several election cycles.
WAGOP, working with the Let’s Go WA and Restore WA organizations, qualified all Six Initiatives to Fix What’s Broken in Washington. By wide margins. Those initiatives—which would repeal Inslee’s cap-and-trade tax scheme, restore reasonable police pursuits, codify parental notification rights in state law and reform state tax policy—have strong bipartisan support. They could swing many voters to WAGOP’s side next November.
That last item is especially important, as the Six Initiatives are likely to define politics in Washington throughout the year ahead.
The Six are Initiatives to the Legislature, which means they will be presented to Olympia for consideration in the upcoming “short session” before they go to the people for votes in November 2024. For the first time decades, the Democrat majorities in the state legislature—not accustomed to playing defense on policy—don’t know what to do.
The field is set for the WAGOP to have more wins in 2024. But none of this is guaranteed. We must work hard, put aside our minor differences, support each other and build our collective enthusiasm. That will translate into enthusiasm among Washington voters. And maximize our chances for success in 2024!
Specifically, here are WAGOP’s goals for 2024:
Successfully hold the local precinct caucuses on January 13. The main measure of success here is simple: Get good people elected as delegates to the county conventions. But there are other goals, too. Attract new people to WAGOP. Give them a forum. Encourage new and existing activists about WAGOP policies and candidates. Energize them to stay engaged through November. And beyond.
Support and coordinate county conventions that will take place at various times during the 12 weeks or so after the January caucuses. Again, the main metric for these conventions is to get good people elected as delegates to the State Convention. But, again, more will be happening. Delegates to the county conventions will be supporting certain candidates, promoting certain platform planks, pushing certain resolutions. As many as possible should be heard.
Leverage the Six Initiatives to define and control as much of the agenda during the “short session” in Olympia as possible. Republicans are still in the minority at the State Capitol. But the Six Initiatives will give us the chance to keep the Democrats in an unfamiliar defensive position. This may yield some opportunities for parliamentary and legislative wins.
Publicize and utilize the state’s U.S. Presidential Primary Election in March. Love it or hate it, the Presidential Primary will be a major opportunity to motivate and activate conservative voters in Washington. And it’s a big opportunity for WAGOP to gather critical voter data. Think of it as the biggest poll that happens all year.
Have a great WAGOP State Convention in Spokane, April 18-20. This will be a State Convention unlike any other in years. The delegates (2,500 are planned) will nominate and endorse Republican candidates for the nine statewide executive positions (Gov, Lt Gov, etc.), the 10 U.S. Congress positions and the one U.S. Senate position on the ballot in 2024.
Use our fundraising, data, media, and ground-game resources to support our nominated and endorsed candidates through the summer and fall. This will be where the real work comes in. We’ve learned from the last few cycles that TV ads alone don’t win elections. We need to be talking to WA voters by all means—including face-to-face.
Coordinate with our partners in the federal and state legislative caucuses to win seats in D.C. and Olympia. The Third Congressional District race is certain to draw major national attention. But the Sixth Congressional seat is open. And the Eighth Congressional remains winnable. In Olympia, we will try to focus more tightly on legislative races we will win—instead of overpromising and under-delivering.
Get as many of the Six Initiatives to the ballot in November—and then into law—as possible. All Six poll strongly, with bipartisan support. Democrats and left-wing activists know this and will be pouring tens of millions of dollars into nasty, negative media campaigns. (Silver lining: That’s money they won’t have to spend on statewide, congressional and legislative races!) We’ll have to fight hard to support what’s good.
Win targeted statewide executive positions. Washington will always be a tough arena for Republican candidates, but much favors us in 2024. WAGOP will support a complete slate of candidates—but will focus especially on the Governor, State Attorney General, Commissioner of Public Lands, Secretary of State and Superintendent of Schools races.
We will change what people in Washington think about Republicans. We will promote policies and laws that unite people and make their lives better. We will support and empower common-sense conservative candidates with the tools and resources to get elected. And stay elected!
LETS NOT FORGET: State Dems via Inslee held onto their “temporary” emergency powers for 975 days. From March 2020 - October 2022 Dem mandates went unchecked by legislative oversight as elected Democrats in Olympia were complicit!
Homelessness and drug addiction has soared. Crime and murder have skyrocketed. Over-taxation and red tape has made cost of living in WA unbearable. The ferry system is in ruins. - Western Washington hospital was decertified. - Our transportation system is filled with bottomless funding and slush fund programs that can’t even fix potholes. One-party rule has clawed back the people’s voice in our democracy. Inslee's press allowed rioters to take over and occupy parts of our biggest city, while attacking political enemies as “domestic terrorists." Dem rule has put WA state on a disastrous course, and the list goes on & on.

AG Ferguson decided to send checks to hundreds of thousands of lower-income people, giving them a portion of a settlement with chicken and tuna companies. He put his name on the check as the payer, AND he attached a letter to the checks; that is blatant and illegal campaigning with public funds, and breaking state law. Article

Sea-Tac rated one of the worst airports in the U.S. - Travelers don't have a lot of good things to say about Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, ranking it one of the worst airports in the country over the past year. With 46 million travelers per year Sea-Tac is among the largest airports in the U.S. and Canada, and ranked 18th out of 20 for customer satisfaction. Article
WA bridges still in poor condition, despite $630M in federal aid
The WA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) imported 85 elk from Southwest Washington to the Skagit Valley some years ago, this has turned out to be a catastrophy! The elk had been exposed to a serious infectious hoof rot disease, and also are destroying private property farmlands! Addittionally, the disease is spreading among the elk and to domestic livestock. WDFW estimates that about 300 of the elk have developed hoof rot, It is a death sentence, as there is no treatment or cure. The disease causes an infected elk to become lame. Eventually, as the disease progresses, that elk will die a slow, cruel death. To let these animals suffer in this way is inhumane.
WDFD has placed burdensome limitations and restrictions on the taking of a diseased elk. A homeowner or farmer who sees a limping elk has to follow rule after rule, make multiple phone calls and get permission to actually harvest a suffering elk. Here is here a recent example / testominial:
December 13, a band of about 30 elk appeared in the field behind our house. At least two of the elk were limping, one of which was limping very badly. Watching it was heartbreaking: it would eat grass, take a few limping steps and then sit down. We made the requisite phone calls, but by the time we got the permission it wasn't until late in the day when one of the limping elk could be identified and harvested. We were told not to touch the elk after it was down. The WDFW and a member of the tribes were to quickly arrive, view the elk, cut off its hooves, and the meat was to be donated to the tribes.
After the diseased elk was shot, it was left in the field for an hour or so, but no one came. We then got word that no one was going to come at all, because it was getting dark. So the burden fell on us, two 70+ year-old homeowners to clean, skin and hang the elk and cut off the hooves, while working in the dark, with the aid of headlights and flashlights. The other suffering elk that we viewed limped off, trying to keep up with the rest of the herd. Video

The number of integrity issues and allegations of electoral impropriety could scale Everest, but Rasmussen and the Heartland Institute conducted a survey where 20 % + of mail-in voters admitted that they cheated in the last presidential election! Article
Using a conservative estimate, it appears likely that more than 14 million ballots cast in 2020 were fraudulent. More than 1 in 5 voters who cast mail-in ballots during the 2020 presidential election admit to participating in at least one kind of voter fraud. 21% of mail-in voters admitted they filled out a ballot for a friend or family member; 19% of mail-in voters admitted that a friend or family member filled out a ballot on their behalf; 17% of mail-in voters admitted they voted in a state where they were no longer a permanent resident; and 17% of mail-in voters said they signed a ballot for a friend or family member with or without his or her permission.
Each of these instances constitutes voter fraud. Taking only the first instance, this means that 21% of all mail-in ballots were fraudulent in 2020. It is important to note this number was likely much higher because the survey questions were not mutually exclusive. Only .80% of all absentee and mail-in ballots were rejected in 2020. Clearly, nearly all fraudulent ballots made it through our country’s gaping sieve of an electoral system. Article

There now is a definitive list of Democrat controlled states where officials want to censor their residents, controlling what they claim is “misleading information.”
There is a frightening shift in the Democratic party on free speech with candidates running on pledges to censor opposing views and politicians supporting blacklisting and censorship on social media. Many citizens oppose such efforts to restrict their rights under the First Amendment, but their elected representatives are limiting free speech.
A filing in the Supreme Court supporting censorship efforts by the Biden administration has supplied a list of the Anti-free speech states for citizens. In Missouri v. Biden, a district court judge ordered the government to stop coordinating censorship campaigns with social media companies. That ruling is on hold now while the U.S. Supreme Court considers the facts.
The 5th Circuit previously ruled in Missouri v. Biden that administration officials ‘likely violated’ the First Amendment and issued a preliminary injunction banning the government from communicating with social media companies to limit speech.
California is leading the effort to get the Supreme Court to reverse a decision enjoining the government from censorship efforts. California has long sought to impose speech limits on doctors, businesses, and citizens to silence opposing viewpoints.
Besides Washington State, other Democrat-led states also have joined this effort. The brief lauds past efforts of these states to combat ‘harmful content’ on the Internet and to protect the public from ‘misleading information’ through partnership with social media companies. A U.S. District Judge ruled that a lawsuit against Georgia’s use of electronic voting machines must go to a non-jury trial in January. She ordered SoS Brad Raffensperger to defend the state’s utilization of electronic voting prior to the upcoming presidential primary election because the lawsuit questions whether GA's current system of computerized voting is safe or whether it is vulnerable to potential hacking.
However, the state (spending taxpayer money) is now appealing to the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals to keep Raffensperger from testifying. Raffensperger selected the system, repeatedly defends the system as secure, but now can’t take an hour or so in federal court to defend it... Article

We found many election frauds, but here is the number one way - Sharon F. testified in Madison 12-13-23 that City of Milwaukee election workers were not doing much and just milling around at about 4pm on Nov. 3 2020. Annette K. testified at around 8:30pm there was hardly anyone (election workers) there at the City's central count. I testified the election clerk Claire Woodall-Vogg gave all workers a 2 1/2 hour dinner break from 6:30pm to 9pm. When the workers came back there were only small amounts of ballots remaining to count. Claire forced all observers out between 10pm and 10:30pm. At 12:30am Nov 4th she announced more ballots were coming to central count. This is confirmed by the affidavit of Ret. Army Col. Bolter. At 1:15am more ballots did come in. We have several eyewitnesses and cellphone ping data. The computerized voting machines that have it all on their hard drives. What Claire, Kimberly Zapata, Jonathan Zuniga and others did was completely illegal and unconstitutional: it was Nov.4th for one where ballots can't be brought in after midnight per the US Supreme Court. There have now been over 276,00 migrant encounters at the southern border in December, the highest single month ever recorded, breaking the prior record set in September at 269,735, and there are still 3 days of December left. Record is being shattered. This new record number includes over 230,000 Border Patrol apprehensions of illegal immigrants in December, also the highest single month of apprehensions ever recorded for Border Patrol. We are now at over 760,000 migrant encounters since October 1st, making the first quarter of fiscal year 2024 also the highest ever recorded. Biden officials fly in 221,456 migrants into the US in past year. Illegal migrants aren’t just overwhelming the border, Dem operatives are flying them secretly to airports all around the country. More than 200,000 people from four countries have landed over the past year, according to FOIA data obtained by the Center for Immigration Studies.
Biden officials have rarely, if ever, spoken of this flight program in the year since implementing it, perhaps mindful of the political outcry over the late-night “ghost flights” that DHS stealthily arranges to ferry migrant children into various airports.
But records show that between late October 2022 and mid-September 2023, the administration approved a total of 221,456 Venezuelans, Haitians, Cubans and Nicaraguans for “travel mode: air.”
The Biden administration did not release the numbers of Colombians or Ukrainians approved to use the direct-flight parole program, meaning the number is even higher. And recently, the administration added Hondurans, El Salvadorans and Guatemalans to the direct-flight program. Article
The scenes from the southwest border are apocalyptic. Thousands of men from Senegal, Angola, Morocco and other far away countries lined up next to the border wall, lit fires with trash, turned the desert into a sea of human waste and waited to declare their “fear” before receiving a taxpayer-funded bus or plane ticket to an American city of their choice.
Human smugglers mocked Border Patrol agents as they pushed their product, people, through the fence, knowing they won’t be punished. Instead, they’ll be back soon with another load. It’s clear to any honest person that the asylum system is being abused, leading to the worst border catastrophe in the country’s history. 12,000 illegal immigrants crossed in a single day, blowing through previous records.
