2021-2022 VIP Committee Up and Running

The Skagit County Republican Party Voter Integrity Project (VIP) Committee held their first meeting yesterday via Zoom. The 25 person Committee is made up of members of the SCRP. The group is being Co-Chaired by SCRP Chairman Bill Bruch and SCRP Member and PCO Cody Hart.

The Committee's Mission Statement Reads:

This committee’s mission is to strengthen Voter Integrity in Skagit County by providing honest and thoughtful critiquing of all aspects of our voting and election system while also advocating to ensure Free and Fair Elections. This committee will be proactive in educating the public and government officials about problems we find with our county and statewide systems, and will be proactive in proposing solutions that are consistent with the Constitution.

2021 Tasks / Work Items:

2020 Election Audit

Review, catalog, and report on records requests findings

Confirming legal requirements (County and State)

Defining voter identification process that we can accomplish

VIP Meeting Timeframes: Twice a month Committee Meetings
