Election Integrity Featured In Today’s Agenda
Today Republicans will gather at the American Airlines Center in Dallas for the first “Midterm” National Convention in modern party history, a two-day event titled “The Great American Comeback” designed to showcase the Trump administration’s record and rally support for the 2026 November elections.
The event runs September 9–10 and will feature a primetime platform for candidates in competitive House, Senate, and gubernatorial races rather than a traditional nominating convention. Organizers expect tens of thousands of attendees and a high-profile contrast between Republican policies on taxes, the border, manufacturing, and healthcare than those of Democrats.
The official agenda divides each evening into themed hourly blocks from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET. President Donald Trump will appear both nights!
Day 1 Total: 53 items/speakers
Day 2 Total: 56 items/speakers
Grand Total: 109 total items/speakers across both nights
The convention will be available to listen to on many radio stations, including Fox News Radio, and on TV via Fox News, C-SPAN, Right Side Broadcasting Network (RSBN), and online, including gopconvention.com/live, on X at GOP Convention@GOPConvention, and on the Republican National Convention YouTube channel.
Election integrity takes center stage today during the 5:00–6:00 p.m. ET block. The program is expected to press for the SAVE America Act and mandatory voter ID, pairing those election-security measures with public-safety themes that include support for police, a closed border, and the removal of criminal offenders.
Day 1 also emphasizes working-family tax relief, fraud reduction at HUD, healthcare affordability, candidate showcases, policy contrast, the passage of recent tax cuts, trade, and public safety - closing with Vice President JD Vance’s keynote speech.
Day 2 highlights a tribute to Charlie Kirk, no tax on tips, overtime, and Social Security, education freedom, hostage recoveries, prescription-drug reforms, a 9/11 remembrance, and Make America Healthy Again themes - ending with President Trump’s keynote speech.
Other featured speakers include Cabinet members Scott Bessent, Todd Blanche, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Mehmet Oz, and Scott Turner; congressional leaders such as Speaker Mike Johnson; Texas officials including Gov. Greg Abbott, Sen. Ted Cruz, and Senate nominee Ken Paxton; Donald Trump Jr.; and dozens of candidates plus everyday Americans.
The convention is intended to generate energy, raise visibility for down-ballot races, and motivate turnout for solid Republican candidates. Organizers hope the event will crystallize a unified message and convert activist enthusiasm into votes that help the GOP hold or expand its congressional majorities.
In 2026, the stakes could not be higher. Every election offers voters a path to the future. In November, we must decide whether to choose steady progress or the country’s destruction. A future that leads to prosperity, peace through strength, and a doubling-down on core American ideals – or the one littered with far-left liberal ideology and policies that have decimated our cities, outsourced American jobs to China and beyond, and provided the dismal promise of a future filled with high taxes and low wages. The choice is crystal clear and will be tested on November 3.
