This Tuesday, December 3rd the Skagit County Republican Woman's group will be hosting A FREE SPECIAL CHRISTMAS EVENT from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm at the La Conner Civic Garden Club 622 2nd St.

A visitor from the late 1700s will be a special guest. However due to security, habit, insider knowledge, and accuracy, she is refusing to reveal her name; but, there is a possibility she was a Secret Spy for General George Washington. She will not divulge if she perished by a horrible death inside a hold aboard a rat-infested ship, or if she lived a normal life following the Revolution. She will be able to reveal the secret identities of many spies for the General, and the types of intel he most desired, including the enemy's provisions, their movements and the number and size of their artillery; especially cannons. The risk, punishment, and perils of not only what they faced, but also what their families endured to secure the freedom of future generations is extraordinary. This well-spoken woman will also detail hair-raising information about how Washington was almost assassinated by insiders. This unidentified woman wants our 21st Century minds to know about current misinformation in present-day media, therefore, making the long journey from the past to aid us in understanding what really happened when she was amongst these spies, yet, cannot be sure if she were one!
