2024 Skagit County Republican Precinct Caucuses - Let Your Voice Be Heard!

You're Invited: 7 Skagit County GOP "Pooled" Precinct Caucus Locations

The 2024 Skagit County Republican "Pooled" Precinct Caucuses will be held this Saturday, January 13, from 10 AM to Noon in seven locations all around Skagit County.

The Precinct Caucuses are vitally important community gathering meetings that only happen once every 4 years. If At All Possible, Please Do Not Miss Them!

The voting precinct PCO will lead their respective individual precinct caucus.

The caucuses are your opportunity to participate with other like-minded community residents, Vote In Person in a "straw poll" for a 2024 Republican Party Presidential Nominee, and make your voice heard! This is where GOP activists, supporters and members of the community discuss pertinent political issues, the Republican Platform, VOTE "IN PERSON" for their preference for U.S. President, Submit Resolutions and elect Delegates and Alternates to the County Convention.

PLEASE ARRIVE BETWEEN 9 AM and 9:30 AM TO REGISTER. BRING YOUR WA STATE I.D. and if possible, YOUR VOTER REGISTRATION CARD!

2024 Skagit County Republican Precinct Caucuses - Let Your Voice Be Heard!

ALL Elected or Appointed Skagit Republican PCO's are AUTOMATIC DELEGATES TO THE SCRP MARCH 9 COUNTY CONVENTION.

You do NOT have to be a PCO or Precinct Captain to be a Delegate or Alternate to the SCRP County Convention or to the WSRP State Convention held in Spokane April 19 & 20.

The designated "Temporary" Caucus Chair and/or Caucus Co-Chair will call each of the individual 7 "Pooled" Precinct Caucus meetings to order no earlier than 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 13, 2024. In most cases, the Caucus Chair or Co-Chair shall be "voted in" as the permanent Chairman of the caucus, and the designated "Temporary" Caucus Co-Chair or Secretary shall be "voted in" as the permanent Secretary of the Precinct Caucus.

The individual Skagit County Republican PCO's or Precinct Captains will lead (Chair) their respective Skagit County individual precinct caucus.

If, for some reason, no one shows up from a specific voting precinct, that precinct will be combined with another precinct (s).

The Jan 13 caucus business of electing Delegates and Alternates to the March 9th County Convention may not begin before 10:30 AM and must be completed by 11:30 AM.

Each precinct is allowed a minimum of TWO DELEGATES (IN ADDITION TO AUTOMATIC DELEGATES) that can advance to the SCRP County Convention being held March 9, 2024.

______________________________________________________________________________

PLEASE DO YOUR PART. The caucuses are the first step to winning elections in 2024!

Also, please consider becoming a Delegate to the SCRP County Convention March 9, 2024, and a Delegate to the WSRP State Convention in Spokane April 19 & 20, 2024. The WSRP State "Endorsement Convention" will also allow the Convention Delegates to select the top Republican candidates running for state-wide and federal offices.

The number of statewide elected delegates will increase from 1,500 to over 2,500, and in Skagit it will increase from 32 to 53. This allows a meaningful representation of grassroots Republicans to participate and make a difference. You do NOT have to be a PCO or Precinct Captain to be a Delegate to the County and State Conventions.

In an effort to not split the GOP vote in the "Jungle Primary" in order to take-back our party and unify behind the best candidate for each race, the WSRP is asking the largest gathering of Grassroots Republicans in Washington State to choose our Republican candidates in April, well before the Primary Election is held.
