SCRP Voter Integrity Project Committee

The Skagit County Republican Party Voter Integrity Project (VIP) Committee is up and running. The 20 person Committee is made up of members of the SCRP and meets on the first Saturday at 11 AM and the 3rd Tuesday at 7 PM of each month.

The Committee's Mission Statement Reads:

This committee’s mission is to strengthen Voter integrity in Skagit County by providing honest and thoughtful critiquing of all aspects of our voting and election system while also advocating for the return of in-person voter verification for every ballot cast in a Skagit County election. Furthermore, this committee will be proactive in educating the public and government officials about problems we find with our county and statewide system and will be proactive in proposing solutions that are consistent with the Constitution and GOP values.

2021 Tasks / Work Items:

 -- 2020 Election Audit

Review, catalog, and report on records requests findings

Confirming legal requirements (County and State)

Defining voter identification process that we can accomplish
